CHICKENS!

This spring we started a garden and built a chicken coop. We now have 9 chickens. We have enjoyed "the girls" quite a bit. Our newest chickens even let us pick them up. In our garden, we grew corn, squash, potatoes, peppers, okra and canteloupe. We will do it again next year, it was so much fun.

PUGGLES

This year Lindy was able to begin our AWANA program at church. She was in the puggles class. She went every Sunday evening and learned about God's creation. This picture was at her end of the year party. She received a certificate for completing a year of AWANA. Go Lindy!

Easter 2009

We celebrated Easter at our house. Loren and Landon were in town that weekend. We had the traditional egg hunt. Of course the kids loaded up on candy.

March 2009

Ok. So I did get behind on my blog. This picture was our 100th day of homeschooling. We had a party. Ashton has homeschooled with us. It has been alot of fun--most days:)
